Time out during gradual upgrade to MOSS 2007
Reza Alirezaei has posted a blog that details a problem that some people are having with their gradual upgrades  in virtual environments. The bad news is it is not exactly a fix, but knowing is half the battle.

Aftermarket additions to SharePoint
I'm starting up a small list of SharePoint tools you may want to look at to enhance your newly upgraded SharePoint system. You should see it at the bottom of the page under 3rd  Party additions.

I stole several of these from Shane Young and Joel Oleson, but that is what this site is all about, collecting information and bringing it to you in one convenient package :) .
How do you know when your MOSS trial ends?
MS MVP Shane Young has given us a guide for how to check on the trial that many of us used during our SharePoint upgrade. 180 days comes sooner than you think, so read up and keep that deadline from shutting you down!

The SharePoint Best Practices Analyser
Microsoft has created a tool that will analyse your SharePoint installation.
This analyser will give you a detailed report listing of recommendations to make you SharePoint environment faster, and more stable.

You can find it here:

If you know of other tools that are handy for establishing a 2007 enviroment make sure to let us know so we can place them in our post upgrade links list.

Microsoft IT's site recycle bin feature
Thanks to Microsoft IT for developing this tool. It takes a little bit of work to install, but it could be worth when you get that late night call about a site that is mysteriously "missing".

Tony Bierman's Central Admin link feature
Do you miss the Central Administration link that administrator's had in SharePoint 2003? Thanks to Tony Bierman it is back, with the same great taste and half the calories.

Mondosoft's Wildcard search feature for MOSS
This is another one that may take some work to get into place but it is worth it. It unleashes the power of the newest search technology built into MOSS.

Smiling Goat's RSS FeedReader
It's great that MOSS has an RSS web part, but this tried and true item has a few tricks that its MOSS counterpart doesn't.

RadEditor and RadEditor Lite
If you have a lot of alternative browsers being used in your environment this cross browser replacement for the Rich Text Editor that is built into SharePoint could be a must have.
